Initiated in 2000, the UNICA Student Conference is a joyful tradition that gathers every 2-3 years with 200 to 300 students from member universities in the capitals of Europe.
By combining keynote speeches, hard work in the discussion groups and social activities, this student-led conference provides students with a unique possibility of meeting their peers from other European countries and to share their views on meaningful issues related to higher education. Students are also encouraged to formulate opinions and recommendations that can be voiced within the UNICA network and relevant stakeholders and give rise to new challenging initiatives.
The theme of the 2021 conference is: 'Your University in the post-COVID-19 capital city!'. UNICA universities are intrinsically urban, bringing opportunities and responsibilities and challenges that require ambitious vision and innovative thought to be addressed.
Share your voice and dreams about what the role of universities in capital cities should be in the future and how higher education institutions might tackle major urban challenges!
