If you would like to go abroad during your Bachelor's or Master's programme to study, to do research, to do an internship, to take a summer- or winter course, or to participate in a conference, and if you have not yet received a grant or subsidy from the European Union, you can apply for a grant via the Horizon fund. The amount of money contained awarded by the grant depends on the destination.

To be eligible for a grant via the Horizon fund, you must meet the following criteria:
Due to the ongoing pandemic, additional requirements apply. All students who apply for the Horizon Fund and are going abroad in the first semester need to sign an indemnification form. This document will clearly explain that any loss arising from a cancellation or interruption of your time abroad is at your own risk. After you apply we will send you the indemnffication form that applies to your plans abroad. To apply for a Horizon grant, please fill in the online application form below. In this form, please explain the nature of your stay abroad, its academic component, and the added value the stay will have for your academic career. The following documents should be attached as PDF files:
The admission procedure is taken care of by a commission that will judge your application when it comes to motivation, added value to your academic career, study progress and extra-curricular activities.
