Going abroad: Scholarships and Funding (in Dutch)
Are you planning your stay abroad for an exchange, internship, research or a master? Join the information session about financing your stay abroad. This information session will be held in Dutch.
Studying abroad costs money, usually more than studying in the Netherlands. Travel expenses, accommodation and other expenses ask for a well in advance prepared budget, even if you still do not have a conformation of your stay abroad.
It is difficult to say how much money a stay abroad will cost. To get an idea, read the brochures and websites of universities as well as the information on the Nuffic website - through studyabroad.uva.nl - that shows living expenses for most of the countries.
The options on scholarships or fundings are very limited, even if you have the Dutch nationality.
Date and time
This information session (in Dutch) will be held on:
- Tuesday, 28 February from 14:30-15:30
The information session (in Dutch) will be held in room REC-C1.03, Nieuwe Achtergracht 166, Amsterdam.
There are no costs for this session. We would like to ask you to register, though. Please read the conditions before you apply.
This information session will be held in Dutch, because by far the most fundings are for students with a Dutch nationality. However, if you wish to know more about the possibilities, please read the website (link directly below) carefully and if any question remains, call the student counsellors during their phone hours.
